Automobile wire harness is one of the important components of automobile, known as the nerve of automobile, and it is the carrier of electric signal control of automobile. Automobile connector is the most important component of wiring harness, and it is the key to realize reliable transmission of electrical signals in wiring harness. This article will focus on the correct positioning and identification methods of connectors from five aspects.
Introduction
After more than half a century's development, China's automobile parts have made great progress. Automobile connector is an important part of automobile, which acts as a bridge at the blocked part of the circuit. 1. Positioning Method of Connector Reverse Buckle
Plug-in reverse buckle is a special locking device designed to fix the wiring loom and the plug-in end of the wire harness (plug-in, electrical board end). Generally, plug-in reverse buckle is easy to identify in the plug-in. The wiring harness designer can design the wiring harness drawings of the connector and the reverse buckle diagram of the electrical board end through analysis; Harness technicians can disassemble the connectors in the corresponding drawings through the schematic diagram of the connectors in the harness drawings. Harness workers can process and produce according to the drawings of harness products by identifying the reverse buckle of connectors. No matter from the angle of wire harness design or wire harness processing, the inverted positioning method of connector can be used as the first method to identify the correct positioning of connector.
2 Locating Method of Connector Hole Position
The connector hole position is an error-proof mechanism preset by the connector manufacturer to prevent the connector from being inserted incorrectly, which means that corresponding characters such as numbers and letters are burned on the connector surface to define the corresponding jack. Harness designers can draw the connector positioning schematic diagram according to the inverted positioning method, and then synchronously define the corresponding hole positions in the schematic diagram according to the numbers and letters burned on the connector surface. The wiring harness technicians can correctly place the corresponding connectors by means of the inverted positioning method, and proofread and verify the connector positioning diagram and hole position schematic signs in the wiring harness design drawings. If there is any inconsistency in positioning, they can communicate with the wiring harness design in time to correct the errors and reduce the risk of inserting the connectors incorrectly. The wiring harness workers can process and produce the wiring harness through the inverted connector positioning and the schematic diagram of the connector hole position, and they can check the consistency of the inverted connector and the schematic diagram of the connector hole position for the second time to ensure the consistency of design and processing. At the same time, the hole location schematic positioning method can reduce the processing difficulty, save the processing cycle and reduce the processing cost.
3 Orientation Method of Outgoing Line Direction
Orientation of outgoing line refers to the method of determining the orientation of connector by analyzing the direction of wiring harness from the connector end. Many ECU connectors have a back cover, and the connector can be located by analyzing the wiring route of the back cover. The wiring harness designer can determine the wiring harness direction through the wiring harness space layout, and draw the schematic diagram of the connector according to the wiring harness direction and the connector positioning direction. Harness technicians can proofread the drawings by comparing the physical object with the information of connector outlet direction and hole position in the connector schematic diagram. At the same time, the connector appears in the direction positioning method, which can determine the reserved size of the wiring harness inside the connector. The wiring harness processing personnel can process the wiring harness through the orientation of the outgoing line and the schematic diagram of the connector hole, and proofread the schematic diagram of the connector for the second time, so as to minimize the wiring harness production errors. The reserved size inside the ECU connector sometimes exceeds 150mm, so it is necessary to locate the outlet direction of the connector for fine production wire harness enterprises.
4. Secondary Locking Method of Connector
The connector secondary lock is a locking device designed to prevent the terminal from falling off after being inserted into the connector. At the same time, the color of the secondary lock is different from that of the connector, which is easy to distinguish. The wiring harness designer can reflect the secondary locking position of the connector in the schematic diagram of the connector, on the one hand, it can remind the wiring harness technicians that the connector has matching accessories, and on the other hand, it can play an auxiliary positioning role. After the wiring harness workers insert all the terminals, they can make a final inspection on the insertion of the connector wiring harness before locking the secondary lock.
5. Locating Method of Internal Hole Type of Connector
The positioning of the internal hole type of the connector means that some connectors carry different currents according to the demand, and the connector manufacturer designs different hole types in the same connector, so the connector can be positioned by different hole types. The wiring harness designer can distinguish the corresponding hole patterns when drawing the schematic diagram of the connector, which is not only convenient for the process decomposition personnel to accurately position the connector, but also can prevent the wrong use of different hole pattern terminals when the wiring harness process decomposition drawings are made. The internal hole positioning method is easy to identify. At the same time, according to different hole types, there is a certain error-proof mechanism in processing and production. For example, the big hole terminal can't be inserted into the small hole of the connector, and the small hole terminal can't be fixed in the big hole of the connector.

How to get the correct positioning of connectors faster and more accurately. Under this premise, this paper deeply analyzes the accurate positioning method of the connector to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the obtained connector positioning information.
